Comic Fantasy, the section dedicated to board games, role-playing games, collectible cards and miniatures, will feature important innovations at 43 COMIC BARCELONA. On the one hand, for the first time in the history of the fair, there will be a Virus Marvel tournament, in collaboration with Tranjis Games.
The game, independent and with fast mechanics, is a version of the classic Virus, with heroes and heroines of the franchise. Participants in the tournament will have to build a team of four iconic characters, while their competitors try to boycott them to reach the milestone before them. The event will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. and will be attended by the game illustrator, David GJ, who will be signing copies of the game.
On Sunday, youtuber Wismichu will host the “Infrequent Commander Party” along with other influencers specialized in the gaming field. In this event, participants will be able to play with magic cards using the Commander Party system, which incorporates role-playing elements. This is an ideal modality for people who have had little contact with this type of game.
Beyond the novelties, Comic Fantasy will be dynamized during the three days of the fair by various entities linked to the world of games. VIIII Legion, for example, has prepared Fanhunter games of “attack on Montjuic Castle”, with a large model of the emblematic building of Barcelona designed for the occasion.
