With just over a week to go before the start of 43 Comic Barcelona, the event is putting the finishing touches to the 43rd edition, which aims to attract a diverse, culture-loving audience ready to immerse in everything related to the art of comics. According to director Meritxell Puig: “43 COMIC BARCELONA will open its doors to everyone who wants to immerse themselves in a creative, lively, inspiring, familiar and educational universe, full of fascinating stories and new perspectives to discover.”

Always with comics as its starting point, this edition will offer days of activities for all audiences. It can be said that the little ones get the big prize with all the numerous activities of the Comic Kids area. Artistic and theatrical works such as Los Viajes de la Pequeña Genia (The Trips of the Little Genie), musical moments to the rhythm of rock with the group Educapop, as well as immersive experiences with Cuckoo’s Labyrinth, among many others, and the signatures of Geronimo Stilton.

Cultural fans of comic book and film characters: gather round! This year, the youngest (and not-so-youngest) will find their place with an exhibition that will bring the heroes and heroines of the Marvel and DC universes to life at 43 Comic Barcelona. A collection of iconic characters that we all know and that will take us fully into the multiverse. An exhibition that will be the perfect complement to an edition marked by the epic; led by the legendary talent of Pepe Larraz and accompanied by many other Spanish artists. A group of talented names that have triumphed in the American market, such as Belén Ortega, David López or Javier Rodríguez. Their presence will give voice to this heroic art, as will other exhibitions such as that of the author of the poster: Perfect Shot: Beauty and the Epic.

And if that were not enough, we have great novelties such as Comic Univers; a space that will host musical shows, talks and even screenings of successful films aimed at children. This year we have also rescued the old Comic Forum, giving it a more intimate tone to discover the more personal side of the authors of the event. And for fans of unique pieces, there is the Original Comic Art Zone. It is a new area that aims to enhance the importance of original works with the participation of its artists, who will sign illustrations, and the leading galleries of the sector.

We will also have digital content in the Comic Stream area, which in this edition, more than ever, will host many specialized channels in the sector, from the most fantastic to the most knowledgeable in the world of superheroes. Borja Crespo, content advisor of 43 Comic Barcelona, highlights ·the great variety of podcasts that this year will share their vision of the ninth art. Channels such as Camp Krypton, Nanarración, La Batcova or Puja el Puto Robot! will enrich the live content of this edition”.

Three days that are ideal both for great comic fans and for those who simply want to have a unique experience. This edition is the perfect setting for anyone who wants to spend a few days with their family surrounded by creativity and learning.
